
Kurt Propst partnered with the SWS team in 2010 after joining the industry in 2003. Kurt received the “Retirement Planning Specialist” certification from the prestigious Wharton School of Business and is matriculating toward his Certified Financial Planner CFP® designation. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning. He played football and baseball for the Mizzou Tigers, lettering 3 years in the Big 12 baseball conference. Kurt manages the firm’s central Missouri location and specializes in wealth management and financial planning.
Kurt was born, raised and currently resides in Jefferson City, MO with his wife Lindsay and three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing golf. He is heavily involved in their Church as a Deacon, former Sunday School teacher, and teaches Route 56 (5th and 6th Grade). He also coaches youth baseball, basketball, and football. He is a former President of the Board for “Big Brothers and Big Sisters,” a former Board Member of “HALO” and his term just expired on the River Oak Christian Academy School Board, where he served two years as Board President.
